or 1845 - The January 29, 1845, issue of the Onondaga Standard reported the death of Benjamin Depuy who died at Lysander (Cold Spring Settlement) on the 19th at age 79 years. Mr. Depuy was one of the first settlers in the town. [Riverside Cemetery records state that he died 1842 at the age of 90]
